Meghan Markle Ends Social Media Freezeout

It would appear as though the hiatus for Meghan Markle from social media has ended.

Markle posted on her Instagram page for the first time in quite a few years to ring in the new year.

This was the first time that Markle has posted since 2020.

She’s Back

I have never quite understood the fascination that the American people have with the royals.

In my mind, they are still kind of the enemy, as our Founding Fathers shed blood to get away from the crown to establish a country that was about as different from a monarchy as it could possibly be.

When Markle and Prince Harry started dating, the gossip sites could not get enough of them.

An American actress and a royal… oh my.

Markle and Harry decided to ditch their royal responsibilities in 2020, which is right around the time that Markle stopped sharing her life on Instagram.

Her boycott from Instagram ended this week, posting a video of her running down the beach near their home in Montecito, California.

Markle drew “2025” in the sand, then ran out of the frame, laughing.

She was probably laughing because she knew fans would flock back to her, with Markle gaining about 400,000 followers within hours of the new post.

These two are about as condescending as it gets, so my guess is that Megyn and Harry probably have a new project in the works that can benefit from a nice push from social media.

I can still remember when the two of them over-dramatized an incident in New York, as well as both of them constantly whining about all the additional attention they get when they are in the United States, yet they continue to live here.

I say send them back from whence they came and be done with them both!
