Hugh Hewitt Says All but One White House Reporter Should be Banned

If you are unfamiliar with Hugh Hewitt, he is a conservative radio host who absolutely loves Donald Trump, so you have to keep that in mind when you hear his comments.

Hewitt believes that with Trump coming into office, all but one White House correspondent should be banned.

Other than Fox News' Peter Doocy, he thinks the White House briefing room should be empty.

Ban Them All

I have ripped the media more than my fair share, but some good journalists are still out there.

I have even noted over the last year that some of the people who really disappointed us during the Trump presidency and the early Biden days started to come around.

Hewitt does not see it that way, however, stating, “With the exception of [Fox News White House Correspondent] Peter Doocy, I would ban everyone from the White House press room who’s been in there for the past four years, because they are obviously of no use to the country.

“They didn’t tell us the number one thing, which is he’s not competent. Why in the world would Trump let them in?”

He continued, “It’s not really failing in the eyes of legacy media, they’re not supposed to tell us when Democrats are incompetent, they’re supposed to go along with it, because that’s the legacy… I mean ABC, CBS, CNN, NBC, Washington Post, New York Times, those five brands, are broken beyond broken, in my view, after this expose.

“Is there any way you can trust anything that any of them say?”

I am not arguing his point about the major brands, but there were other people in that room doing their jobs.

Not only that, it is simply not realistic to think that Trump can or would ban these journalists from being in the briefing room.

How we deal with these people is by fighting back with the truth and exposing them as frauds until they finally cave and start doing their jobs.

There are quite a few members of the media with some serious egg on their faces over the way they reported on Biden over the last few years, so let’s hope they learned their lesson.

Until then, we will keep calling them all out and do our best to write about the truth, whether flattering or not.
