Kyrsten Sinema dismisses criticism from members of Democrat Party

In an exit interview, outgoing Arizona Independent Sen. Kyrsten Sinema did not hold back when addressing the scrutiny she has received from Democrats representing her former party.

Sinema told the world exactly how much she was letting the liberals bother her these days.

Sinema doesn't "give a s---" what the Democrats think about her, she's going to do what she thinks is right.

The independent lawmaker opted against running for re-election, but she still gets to finish out her current term. It was during this time that she and Sen. Joe Manchin from West Virginia, another Democrat-turned-Independent, blocked the nomination of Lauren McFerran to the National Labor Relations Board.

Joe Biden and other liberals were FURIOUS at the move by Sinema and Manchin, as it opened up the possibility for Republican control of the board under President-elect Donald Trump.

Maybe because it wasn't the first time that Sinema and Manchin have been under attack by Democrats, Sinema isn't letting the criticism bother her.

"I know some people think I’m, like, this enigma or whatever, but I don’t think that’s true at all," Sinema said. "I think, maybe, this is a place where sometimes people say things that they don’t mean. I am not one of those people … I think I’m highly predictable."

In addition to blocking Biden's nomination of McFerran, Sinema has also been facing heavy scrutiny from Democrats for her protection of the filibuster.

Many of the left criticized Sinema for her decision, but Sinema said that at least "one person reached out to me after the election and apologized -- and said I was right."

Sinema was elected as a Democrat, but she registered as an independent in 2022.

At the time, Sinema said that she "never fit into any party box" and that she "doesn't want to."

"Removing myself from the partisan structure — not only is it true to who I am and how I operate, I also think it’ll provide a place of belonging for many folks across the state and the country who also are tired of the partisanship," she said at the time.

Republicans around the country should be thankful that Sinema did not cave to liberal demands and instead left the party. She should be the standard for every Democrat moving forward!
