Trump shuts down rumors Elon Musk is pulling strings during transition

Immediately after Speaker of the House Mike Johnson put forth a spending bill designed to keep America's government funded through March 14, Elon Musk embarked on a very public campaign arguing against the bill.

According to Musk, the bill needed to be killed and "any Republican who supports it should be voted out of office."

The powerful statement, combined with Trump coming out and agreeing with Musk, got a lot of people thinking.

What if Musk is actually the one pulling the strings behind closed doors, not Donald Trump?

Well, Trump must have heard the rumors.

They've been dispelled already.

Trump, via his spokesperson Karline Leavitt, recently responded to accusations that Musk is the one really making all the decisions.

Donald Trump is a very powerful and busy man, so he enjoys surrounding himself with other very powerful and busy people.

Just because Elon Musk is around does NOT mean that he's the one leading the party.

As evidenced by the MAGA movement that took over America in 2016 and 2024, Trump is clearly the top Republican in America right now.

If he wasn't he never would have been able to coast through the primaries as Nikki Haley, Ron DeSantis, and the rest of the rest were left fighting it out for second place.

Donald Trump is in control.

Come January 2024, that will be even more obvious.

Leavitt knows that Trump is the leader of the party. Musk knows that Trump is the leader of the party. Donald Trump FOR SURE thinks he is the leader of the party.

It's just another example of liberals trying to create a problem where there isn't one.
