Insider Says Harry and Meghan’s Netflix Shot Taken ‘Out of Their Control’
Netflix seems to love dumping money on liberals, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle were no exception.
The streaming outlet was paying them roughly $100 million in their deal, but it now looks like the control of their show has been taken away.
A recent report stated that after receiving horrid reviews, they have been removed from having complete control of their Polo show.
Disappointing
The show has been a major disappointment to viewers who were likely looking to get their Royal fix from the show.
Well, there are five episodes that have aired find the docuseries, and the show is only getting two-star reviews.
Harry has only made a handful of appearances, and Meghan has been featured in the show even less.
The couple is now claiming that they actually had little control over the show anyway, yet both of them have executive producer credits for the series.
One source stated, “Truth is, it was pretty much out of their control. The bosses wanted the series to appeal to the masses and pushed this reality TV slant so it's not entirely their fault.
“It’s pretty ironic because they've always acted so above this sort of thing and now, here they are producing the exact type of content they've always looked down on.”
The transplanted Royals have not exactly been killing it since leaving the UK and moving to the United States.
The Cut, a reportedly favorite magazine of Markle’s, has completely turned on her, noting that her projects “keep flopping.”
This experience has reportedly been so bad for Netflix that it could cost the couple their deal.
The source stated, “This could potentially be a nail in the coffin for their deal with the streaming giant who now use algorithms to make sure their programming is perfect for their subscribers.”
The docu-series was supposed to give a true insider look at the polo World Cup in Florida, but the narrative of the show has failed to impress critics and draw in viewers.
