Bill Clinton: Open to Discussing Pre-emptive Pardon for Hillary
Over the last few days, there have been reports that Biden aides and White House attorneys have been meeting to discuss possible pre-emptive pardons for individuals who Biden believes could be the subject of DOJ investigations.
Obviously, one of those people would be Hillary Clinton.
Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is another name, but unlike Hillary, he is not even entertaining the idea of a pardon.
But If You Did Nothing Wrong…
Clinton was asked about Hillary being on Kash Patel’s list and what he thought of the idea of a pre-emptive pardon.
Bill responded, “They’ve got a problem with her because first, she didn’t do anything wrong. Second, she followed the rules exactly as they were written. Third, Trump’s State Department — Trump’s State Department — found — remember how the emails were such a big issue in 2016?
“Trump’s State Department found that Hillary sent and received exactly zero classified emails on her personal device. It was a made-up phony story.”
That, as usual, is a lie.
Per then-Director James Comey’s release on the subject, “From the group of 30,000 e-mails returned to the State Department, 110 e-mails in 52 e-mail chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received.
“Eight of those chains contained information that was Top Secret at the time they were sent; 36 chains contained Secret information at the time; and eight contained Confidential information, which is the lowest level of classification. Separate from those, about 2,000 additional e-mails were ‘up-classified’ to make them Confidential; the information in those had not been classified at the time the e-mails were sent.”
So, she had clearly sent and received classified information, only Comey chose to let her off the hook.
This is the type of information you would think the ladies on “The View” had since they were talking to Bill Clinton on this subject, but that did not happen, and Bill’s blatant lies were not challenged.
Bill Clinton continued, “So, you know, I guess if Kash Patel is determined to make one up, he could do it, but I think if President Biden wanted to talk to me about that, I will talk to him about it, but I don’t think I should be giving public advice on the pardon power. I think it’s too — it’s a very personal thing, but it is — I hope he won’t do that, Trump, you know. Most of us get out of this world ahead of where we’d get if all we got was simple justice. And so it’s normally a fool’s ear and to spend a lot of time trying to get even.”
When Bill was asked if a pre-emptive pardon would imply that Hillary had done something wrong, he responded, “Not necessarily.”
Well, if you did nothing wrong and you have the faith in the justice system that you say you have, you would not need a pardon because it would all wash out in the end.
Dems know they broke the law, repeatedly, and like I said before, it is not revenge justice if they broke the law or abused their power… it’s just justice.
