White House: Expect More Pardons
Joe Biden made national headlines last week when he decided to violate his word and pardon his son, Hunter.
Well, apparently, the old man is not done opening up the jail cells just yet.
The White House announced this week that more pardons are on their way.
Set Them Free
Biden is taking fire from all sides over the pardon given to Hunter Biden.
There are some who want Biden to pre-emptively pardon people like Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA), who did break the law, by the way, when he leaked classified information to the media.
Reps. Jeffries (D-N.Y.) and Bowman (D-N.Y.) have suggested that Biden should pardon all non-violent offenders and death row inmates respectively.
To that point, White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre was asked, “Can we expect that other people who are in prison whose clemency petitions are sitting at the White House are going to have their cases see the same care and attention that the president gave his own son?”
She responded, “As it relates to pardon- — pardoning or any clemency, the president, as you know, at the end of the year, makes announcements. He’s thinking through that process very thoroughly.
“There’s a process in place, obviously. And so, once — I’m not going to get ahead of — of the president on this. But you could expect more announcement, more par- — pardons and clemency at the end of — at the end of — at the end of this term.”
Jill Wine-Banks, a former assistant Watergate special prosecutor, is among those who wants Biden to issue the pre-emptive pardons.
She recently stated, “I hope that President Biden will also issue preemptive pardons to all of those people threatened by the injustice of what will become the Department of Justice in the Trump administration.
“That, of course, includes Jack Smith and all of his staff, many Department of Justice lawyers.
“It includes President Biden himself, although we don’t know that anyone can legally pardon themselves.
“He will need a pardon because he is going to be harassed and charged for no crimes whatsoever. Donald Trump has promised that.”
I say again… if people weaponized the DOJ and broke the law, I do not see that as revenge. To me, they broke the law and they are being brought to justice.
If I am being honest, I could care less about most of the names these people are throwing around, but Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is the one that I want to see behind bars.
He broke the law, he lied to the American people, and it is about time he gets exposed for the fraud he is.
