Judge tosses J6 protestor's lawsuit against Fox News
Bad news has arrived for Ray Epps, the former U.S. Marine who sued Fox News over its coverage of the Jan. 6, 2021 unrest.
The judge on the case has officially dismissed the entire lawsuit.
Epps is a resident of Arizona who was sentenced to an entire year of probation for his participation in Jan. 6 demonstrations.
He admitted to being present and partaking in the events that occurred that day -- however, he says he is NOT to blame.
Epps’ attorneys went on to accuse Fox News of choosing to report “destructive conspiracy theories” that led to Epps participating in the protests.
He is not alone in his lawsuit -- there have actually been two others brought against Fox News for issues with its reporting.
Both of those lawsuits have now been dismissed!
Now, the dismissal of Epps's lawsuit makes for a third case dropped against the cable news network.
Fox News has since provided a statement upon learning the news of the judge’s decision to toss the case.
“Following the dismissals of the Jankowicz, Bobulinski, and now Epps cases, Fox News is pleased with these back-to-back decisions from federal courts preserving the press freedoms of the First Amendment,” said Fox News Network.
At the end of the day, no matter how you feel about Fox News, you must respect the decision of the judge.
That should be enough for EVERYONE.
It is also hard to not notice the extreme bias at play here.
It seems the right-leaning news outlets are always under fire, and the left-leaning media gets break after break.
The liberal media establishment has become so extremely volatile and misleading that even those generally in agreement with it have been forced to start admitting there is a problem.
Political preferences aside, news networks should be forced to report the TRUTH to the American people.
