Musk Accuses Trump Impeachment Witness of Treason

Elon Musk has the media and Democrats all fired up after making a statement on X about Trump's impeachment witness, retired Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman.  

Vindman has made some derogatory comments about Musk that did not sit well. 

In turn, Musk told Vindman that he had committed “treason” and that he “will pay.” 

Game On 

Vindman had commented that Musk was unwittingly being used by the Russians, which had Musk go right on the attack.  

Vindman, at the time, stated, “Clearly Putin has a type. He likes narcissists and egomaniacs that he knows as a case officer can easily pander to manipulate, to do his dirty work. 

“Russia has been using different levers — whether that’s corruption networks, in this case, its influencers like Donald Trump, like Elon Musk, to kind of sow discord.” 

He later added, “It’s possible that some of that is seeping through. 

“He’s [Putin] been using the richest man in the world to do his bidding. In some cases, that’s encouraging him probably to support Donald Trump.” 

Musk posted, “Vindman is on the payroll of Ukranian oligarchs and has committed treason against the United States.” 

He further stated that Vindman “will pay the appropriate penalty” for his actions.  

Vindman shot back that the accusations made by Musk were “false and completely unfounded.” 

He later added, “I served in the military for nearly 22 years and my loyalty is to supporting the U.S. Constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic. That’s why I reported presidential corruption when I witnessed an effort to steal an election. 

“You, Elon, appear to believe you can act with impunity and are attempting to silence your critics. I’m not intimidated.” 

First, I believe that Vindman is very self-serving, as we found out during the impeachment trial.  

Second, I don’t believe anyone could ever manipulate or get over on Musk.  

Having said that, I highly doubt Musk will be able to prove charges of treason, but if I were Vindman, I would cut my losses right now before this really gets ugly.  

And for the record, Vindman is the one that started throwing bombs at Trump and Musk, so them going after him at this point is fair game.  

If you don’t want to get into a fight, don’t throw the first punch.
