Democrat Donor Says Harris Campaign ‘Legally’ Stole Funds
We would be hard-pressed to remember any other campaign that raised the amount of money that Harris raised over only three months.
Even though she was a late entry, Harris raised a staggering $1.6 billion via all outlets for her campaign.
She clearly helped out her friends with some ridiculous price tags, and now, at least one Democrat donor is unhappy.
Legally Stealing
When reports surfaced that the Harris campaign had paid Harpo Productions, which is owned by Opray Winfrey, an estimated $2.5 million for her town hall, it was pretty clear Harris’ buddies were taking advantage of her huge war chest.
Even with all that money, however, it was reported that the campaign was in the hole of about $20 million after the election was over.
As attorney John Morgan stated, “a lot of people got rich” off the Harris campaign.
Morgan went on to say that the money was “stolen... maybe legally.”
He stated, "All of a sudden, everybody's got the keys to the candy store, ad buyers, talent, consultants. There's 100 days to do it, and the money started pouring in.
"She had all this money coming in. She had all these consultants, and if you don't run the ads, you don't get paid for the buy.
“They were running ads in Florida, where I live, nonstop. And I'm like, why? I mean, are they running in Alabama and Idaho, too?
“And I'll tell you why. If you don't run the ads, the buyer doesn't get paid."
Morgan’s criticism did not stop there, adding, "I was at a dinner at the White House on Friday night, talking to a lot of people and I'm telling you man, there's a lot whispering, there's a lot of names about who got paid this, who got paid that.
"A lot of people got rich on the back of donors trying to stop Trump. And I think this disqualifies her forever—forever. If you can't run a campaign, you can't run America."
Morgan is right on the same page as I am.
I believe she figured she would win the election, so she was not worried about money running out, figuring she could immediately start raising money for her 2028 run and pay off any additional debt the campaign had created down the stretch.
Now, as I have stated in previous reports, I believe that Harris’ political future is limited to the state of California.
I suspect she could make a run for California Governor, which I would welcome, as I believe Harris would run that state further into the ground, ending her career forever.
