Democrat AZ Governor Says Her State Will Not Participate in Mass Deportations
Donald Trump campaigned on fixing illegal immigration in this country.
After winning, he vowed to conduct mass deportations of illegal immigrants, with it being believed that the major focus would be illegals with criminal records.
Arizona’s Democrat Governor, Katie Hobbs, says her state will not participate in this action.
Don’t Need Your Approval
When Hobbs was asked about Trump’s deportation plan, she not only said that Arizona “will not be participating,” but she also called it “misguided efforts that harm our communities.”
When she was asked why she did not want the illegal immigrants removed from her communities, she responded, “Well, I think that those efforts are going to divert needed resources that we need here on these drug interdiction and smuggling and trafficking efforts to keep harm out of our communities. We need those resources here.”
She further stated that she would not permit local or state police to track down illegals for the purpose of deportation.
I have some bad news for Hobbs… Trump does not need her approval or help.
Trump has already stated that he will use the military to help with the operation.
My guess is that ICE will be handling the tracking down of the illegals in this country, with the military primarily being used to bolster the border presence.
Trump’s incoming Border Czar, Tom Homan, has also confirmed that ICE agents will “flood” sanctuary cities in this country to apprehend illegals for the purpose of deportation.
One would think that Democrats would have gotten the message with the election of Donald Trump, but they are brain dead.
To that point, Hobbs is not alone in this resistance, as the governors of Illinois and Massachusetts have both stated they will not participate, as has New Los Angeles Police Department Chief Jim McDonnell.
The Supreme Court has been clear on this issue… immigration falls under federal purview, so they can resist all they want, but these deportations are going to happen, and they are going to happen soon.
