Obama Makes Excuses for Harris’ Historic Defeat in Presidential Election

As far as the left is concerned, Barack and Michelle Obama are national heroes, but are they? 

There are two things that have just occurred that, if I were on the left, I would be seething about right now.  

At the top of that list is Obama making excuses as to why Harris lost without acknowledging that the Democrat Party’s new direction, a direction put in place when Obama was in office, is just not working.  

Excuses, Excuses 

First and foremost, let’s be really blunt here... if the Obamas wanted to save the country from the bad orange man, Michelle Obama could have run for office.  

She was, by far, the strongest person on both sides of the aisle in terms of polling during this election. If she had run, we would have lost, period.  

Michelle did not want to run because she and Barry are enjoying a very posh life they now have, so let’s not paint them as selfless servants.  

Second, with the party losing, if you want Democrats to have success in the future, you need to accept the mistakes that were made, especially with the massive rebuke that resulted in this landslide election.  

Instead, Barry and Michelle made excuses, stating, in part, “America has been through a lot over the last few years — from a historic pandemic and price hikes resulting from the pandemic, to rapid change and the feeling a lot of folks have that, no matter how hard they work, treading water is the best they can do. 

“Those conditions have created headwinds for democratic incumbents around the world, and last night showed that America is not immune.” 

The pandemic did create challenges, but Joe Biden and Kamala Harris made it much worse with their far-left agenda.  

Virtually every economic problem we have in this country starts with energy prices, and Joe Biden declared war on fossil fuels, and we paid the price.  

I have no problem with renewable energy, but I have always stated that it must be phased in and both fossil fuels and renewable can work in conjunction... this should not be an either/or proposition. 

You ask me, the Obamas are frauds. They cashed in on the presidency and went from being in debt to a net worth of about $70 million, while hanging out on superyachts with the likes of Tom Hanks and Steven Spielberg (while telling us we need to watch our fuel consumption).  

They are hypocrites, liars, and opportunists, nothing more.
