Justice Gorsuch’s New Book Draws More Attacks
Justice Neil Gorsuch has been under attack since the day that Trump nominated him for the post.
He was the pick to replace Obama’s pick when Senator McConnell (R-KY) blocked the nomination because it was so close to the election.
Dems have accused Gorsuch of siding with the elite rather than the American people, but after his book, they are now saying he does not help bureaucrats enough.
Never Happy
The latest outrage over Gorsuch is just proof that the left in this country is not happy unless they are angry.
When Gorsuch was first nominated, Senator Chuck Schumer (D-N.Y.) stated, “When the chips are down, far too often he sides with the powerful few over everyday Americans just trying to get a fair shake.”
Senator Dick Durbin (D-IL) stated, “In case after case, you have dismissed or rejected efforts by workers and families to recognize their rights or defend their freedoms.”
I believe, in his rulings, Gorsuch has proven them all wrong, even crossing over with the liberal justices at times in decisions he believed the people were being wronged.
Well, now Dems and liberals are coming after him for not taking care of the elites.
The Washington Post’s Ruth Marcus said Gorsuch's book did not “do enough to defend the perspective of the administrative state bureaucrats zealously enforcing laws, statutes, and regulations.”
Politico magazine’s senior writer Ankush Khardori was upset that Gorsuch did not interview with Politico, stating, “Gorsuch was not willing to speak with me or answer any questions about his book, despite having spent much of the summer doing interviews with friendly conservative media figures to promote his book.”
Just so you know, very few interviews are given by Supreme Court justices, as it is arguably one of the hardest interviews to land, so Khardori needs to take a chill pill on that front.
But that may have been why Khardori offered rather harsh criticism of the book, echoing the same sentiment of Marcus.
Make up your mind, folks… do you want him to be for the people or the elite?
