Bad News for Democrats… GOP Dominating Early Voting

Since the 2016 election, Democrats have dominated early voting, much to the regret of the Republican Party, which insisted that people needed to vote on election day.

I have always disagreed with that, saying that the GOP is filled with the elderly who may not be able to get out on election day, so let’s encourage them to go to the polls when they can.

Well, the GOP finally wised up, and it is bad news for Democrats in this election cycle.

GOP Beating Dems at Their Own Game

In most states around the country, we are seeing reports that Republicans are outpacing Democrats in early voting.

This, to me, is a sign of the energy level for the campaigns.

Democrats always dominate early voting, and while there are usually more Republicans who vote on election day, they have not been able to overcome Democrats' big push before election day.

The really bad news for Democrats is that the GOP voters are outpacing Democrats in key states like Wisconsin.

As of October 29, roughly half the votes cast were by Republican voters, with Democrat voters only making up about 32%, the remainder assumingly independent voters in Wisconsin early voting.

The 2020 election set records for votes cast, but there were still about a third of eligible voters who sat out the election.

I have to believe this early energy is going to benefit Republicans, as many people getting to the polls probably never made it to the polls in 2020.

It took the GOP a few years to catch up, but now they are beating Democrats at their own game, and it is causing widespread panic in the Democrat Party.

To my point, a recent NBC News report stated that many of the new voters in this election were voters who sat out the 2020 election, not just newly eligible voters.

So far, some 60 million votes have been the case, nearly 40% of the total vote count in 2020.

I don’t want to get too excited just yet, but to me, this is a very good sign for Trump.
