Comer: FBI Used ‘Honey Pot’ Spies to Infiltrate 2016 Trump Campaign

Yes, we are apparently still talking about Donald Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign.

The House Judiciary Committee recently announced it was looking into a whistleblower report on how the FBI had targeted the Trump campaign during the 2016 cycle.

The report stated that two female FBI agents were sent in undercover to infiltrate the campaign at the highest levels.

Honey Pots

For those unfamiliar with the term, this is when an agent infiltrates an organization on the premise of a relationship, which may or may not include physicality, to gain information.

This is very popular in the spying world to gain the confidence of high-ranking men with information.

The network drops a bombshell into the target’s lap, develops a relationship, and the target eventually gives up the goods with pillow talk.

The report goes on to say that then-Director James Comey is the one that ordered the honey pot investigation and personally directed the investigation, contrary to what has been reported in the past as well as what Comey has stated to the media when asked about the investigation.

The House Judiciary Committee is now investigating the claims and will open a formal investigation if warranted.

Former FBI Assistant Director Chris Swecker said this would be a “booming, egregious violation” of agency rules.

He added, “It’s an unpredicated infiltration of a presidential campaign which is sensitive.

“It’s sensitive to the point where it would have to have been approved by the [attorney general] and … would have to be predicated. And in this case, I’m not hearing any predication. It would have to be on the books anyway, regardless.”

The report goes on to say that “it does not appear that any information about this investigation was turned over to Trump’s criminal defense counsels.”

Finally, the report claims, “The FBI employee personally observed one or more employees in the FBI being directed to never discuss the operation with anyone ever again, which included talking with other people involved in the operation.”

Over the last two years, we have seen a massive influx of whistleblower complaints filed with Republican members of Congress, but I have to say, this could be the biggest bombshell of them all.

And if the report is accurate, Comey could possibly face legal repercussions for his actions, which I have believed all along.

It seems pretty obvious that when it came to Trump, all the regular rules and regulations went out the window for Comey and the FBI.
