FBI Continues to Stonewall Republicans Regarding Iran’s Hacking of Trump Campaign

Earlier in this election cycle, it was reported that the Trump campaign had been hacked.

One of the documents that was believed to have been compromised was Trump’s oppo research on Senator JD Vance (R-OH), who Trump eventually selected as his VP.

Republicans in Congress have been trying to get a report from the FBI on the hacking, but according to House members, the FBI continues to stonewall them in their requests.

Stonewalling

The hacking was reportedly backed by Iran.

Now, I think most people reading this would agree that Iran would rather have Harris in office.

And I would even go so far as to say that Iran and Democrats are in bed together.

I say this because of how Barack Obama and Joe Biden coddled the terrorist nation when, in my opinion, a rather significant show of power was called for.

Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-N.Y.), a major Trump backer in Congress, is now accusing the FBI of blocking the House’s efforts to hold its own investigation into the matter.

Stefanik stated, "I believe there was politicization from the Biden-Kamala Harris administration that they were notified prior to the Trump campaign to tip the scales.

"The FBI has functioned like an arm of the Democrat Party."

The FBI did hold a classified briefing with some members of the House Intelligence Committee, but Stefanik says they did not provide a lot of information and they also seemed panicked over the line of questioning.

To that point, she stated, "I'm one of the longest serving members on House Intelligence Committee. When the FBI won't answer questions, it's because you've hit on something and they're hiding something. They are corrupt to the core."

The FBI immediately responded, "The FBI under Director [Christopher] Wray has vigorously and repeatedly called out the threat posed by Iran.

“The FBI does not play in partisan politics and has proactively informed victims of the threats posed by this regime while also publicly bringing attention to their actions.

"The FBI has also briefed dozens of members of Congress across multiple committees in both open and classified briefings and hearings.

“It is no secret how active the FBI has been in countering actions by Iran as evidenced by the recent indictment of Iranian cyber actors linked to a hack-and-leak operation designed to influence the 2024 U.S. Presidential Election."

If Trump wins this election, there are two things that I am sure will happen.

First and foremost, Director Wray will be terminated.

Second, I believe Trump will call for a massive investigation into the FBI as well as sweeping changes among leadership to get this rogue element out of the agency that has obviously declared its loyalty to the Democrat Party rather than to justice.

I would love to see an independent investigation conducted because we all know anything conducted by the GOP will be dismissed as partisan by the media.
