Supreme Court Rejects Kennedy’s Challenge for Ballot Removal in MI and WI

While we were all hopeful some common sense would come into play regarding the removal of Robert F. Kennedy Jr. from the ballot, that will not be the case.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court rejected an emergency appeal by Kennedy.

This means his name will remain on the ballot in Michigan and Wisconsin, two key blue wall states for Harris.

Rejected

It was only yesterday that I wrote a report on the issue of the Supreme Court avoiding election cases unless it absolutely needed to step in.

The last thing that Chief Justice Roberts wants is the court being accused of helping Donald Trump win.

To that point, when Kennedy made his appeal, it was more or less assumed that the court would decline the case, even though he had a very valid point.

The case was initially lost in the lower courts, citing that it was too close to the election to change anything.

Now, only a week before election day, there was very little hope that the court would order him to be removed from the ballot for the threat of throwing a major wrench into the system.

Kennedy withdrew from the race only about two weeks after Biden and Harris switched gears, but Democrats in the blue wall states have been fighting for him to remain on the ballot.

This is because, in most polling in key swing states, Kennedy is pulling more votes from Trump than he is from Harris, so I am sure Democrats never thought they would have the Supreme Court rule in their favor on this.

That should be irrelevant, however, because Kennedy is no longer in the race, so while early voting ballots are out, there is no need for Kennedy to be on the election day ballots, as they surely had enough time to have him removed from the system.

I just don’t understand how anyone could consider this a free and fair election when you are purposely keeping someone on the ballot that has been out of the race for months.

Our election may be free, but they more certainly are no longer fair, at least not in all states.
