Tim Walz Gets Mocked Over Now-Deleted Football Post

Governor Tim Walz and Rep. Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) held an event on Twitch this week to try to attract younger voters to the Kamala ticket.

The two of them had a Madden match, but it was made quite apparent very early on that neither one of them had a clue how to play the game other than straightforward plays.

Walz even admitted that he had no idea what controls to use, but that is not where the mocking came in.

What Did He Just Say

I watched the video of these two playing, and it was fairly comical.

Much of the conversation that took place during the match centered on Project 2025, which Dems claim will be Donald Trump’s playbook if he wins this election.

For the record, the document was put together by a group of conservatives, some of them former Trump staffers, for what they would like to see happen if a Republican gets elected.

It is NOT Donald Trump’s agenda, and it never has been, but that has not stopped Democrats from pushing this narrative.

During the game, Walz had stated that Project 2025 was the playbook and from his football days, he stated that if you are going to bother to draw up a playbook, it will be used.

Then a post was made on Walz’s X account, which stated, “@AOC can run a mean pick 6 — and I can call an audible on a play.”

Walz is a former football coach, so my guess is that he was not the one who posted the now-deleted remarks.

That being said, one would think someone with football knowledge would have been commenting because a Pick-6 is something that happens, not a play that is actually run.

That was only exacerbated by the “I can call an audible,” which together sounded like something you would hear on a Sesame Street show.

Trump’s campaign pounced on it, as did JD Vance, who told a rally crowd, “You don’t run a pick-six, you run the West Coast offense or the spread offense.

“It made me realize that even though they say Tim Walz was a football coach, I think I know more about football than Tim Walz. And it’s appropriate ’cause I think my running mate, Donald J. Trump, knows more about working at McDonald’s than Kamala Harris does.”

One other note, the McDonald’s thing clearly got to the Harris campaign because Walz brought it up again, trying to paint it as Trump insulting fast-food workers, but that narrative has not and will not take off.

It’s not like the Trump campaign has not had missteps down the stretch, but the Harris campaign is outpacing him right now, and it shows in polling.

When Trump does these events, he comes off as authentic. When Harris and Walz do it, it is very apparent they are not remotely comfortable.

And if there is one thing the American people cannot stand, it is a fraud.
