New York Officials Update Voting Rights and Public Safety During Elections

New York is right there with Pennsylvania as a state where many people have lost faith in election integrity.

This is especially true with Governor Hochul and Attorney General Letitia James now calling the shots.

So, it was rather ironic when they held a press briefing pushing election safety and integrity this month.

Tighten It Up

With Donald Trump in this election, you better believe he will prioritize election security, especially in battleground states and forever blue states like New York.

Trump just held a massive rally at Madison Square Garden this weekend, then he proclaimed that after such a show of support, he expects to be competitive and possibly steal New York for Democrats, something that has not been done in four decades.

With AI becoming more popular than ever and a go-to source for many people for research, Hochul and James are trying to quell the rumors of election fraud before they get started.

During their presser, Hochul stated, "There are no credible threats to the election integrity of our systems here in the state of New York, but we are on vanguard to make sure that we are prepared for all scenarios.”

James added, “You should never rely on AI chat boxes to answer questions about elections or voting.

"And if you receive a phone call with information about voting or elections, be vigilant — that information may be inaccurate or fake. Remember to verify information with official sources.”

Jackie Bray, the New York State Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Services Commissioner, stressed much the same point, adding, “New York’s elections are and will remain safe and secure. Every New Yorker should get out there and vote between now and Election Day.

“For details on how to vote including polling locations and the hours polling places are open, please contact the State Board of Elections and your local County Board of Elections for good, trusted sources of election information or visit www.elections.ny.gov.”

New York, like many states around the country, has seen a massive push in early voting.

I saw a report this morning claiming 46 million people have already voted, which is nearly 30% of the 2020 total of all votes cast.

As far as Trump’s comments about winning New York, I am sad to report it will never happen.

The closest that Trump has been during this cycle is -12, and that was in September. In the latest polling, Donald Trump is -19, -18, and -18.

He has actually lost significant ground over the last month, which is why I still have no idea why he would waste time and money holding a massive rally in New York City.
