Rubio Hits Back at Dems Calling Trump a ‘Fascist’

Over the last two weeks, one of the most popular categorizations of Trump is to call him a “fascist.”

Charlamagne Tha God even asked Harris’ permission to call Trump a fascist when he did a virtual town hall with her recently.

Senator Marco Rubio (R-FL) is now stepping up to defend Trump on the comments.

He Is Not!

By definition, fascism is “a populist political philosophy, movement, or regime (such as that of the Fascisti) that exalts nation and often race above the individual, that is associated with a centralized autocratic government headed by a dictatorial leader, and that is characterized by severe economic and social regimentation and by forcible suppression of opposition.”

The Atlantic recently published a hit piece on Trump labeling him as a fascist and saying that Trump idolized people like Adolf Hitler.

Rubio pushed back on this, stating, "It’s very dubious to see these accusations coming at the very last minute, right before an election.”

He added, "These are people that worked in the administration or around the administration, and then they figured out pretty quickly, if we want jobs after we leave this administration, we have to become anti-Trumpers.”

He is right, as The Atlantic piece had cited comments by General Kelly, who was supported by more than a dozen former Trump officials, who wrote, "We applaud General Kelly for highlighting in stark details the danger of a second Trump term. Like General Kelly, we did not take the decision to come forward lightly. We are all lifelong Republicans who served our country.

“However, there are moments in history where it becomes necessary to put country over party. This is one of those moments."

Trump, when asked about Kelly’s comments regarding Hitler, responded, “Never said it.”

The irony in all of this is the outrage among Democrats over the Washington Post not issuing an endorsement, calling for boycotts from subscribers.

Then there was the backlash against McDonald’s after Trump’s photo-op, with Democrats filing a complaint for alleged price gouging.

The Democrats are great about crying wolf about Trump, but then doing exactly what they accuse Trump of having done.

Trump is a lot of things, but a Hitler clone is not one of them, I assure you.
