REPORT: Harris Injected DEI into Intelligence Briefings
A new report in the New York Times could either give Harris a boost or sink her ship, depending on everyone’s view of DEI.
According to the report, Harris has been looking to inject “equity” into everything since becoming VP, including intelligence reports.
One of her pet projects was evaluating how the reports characterized women and men differently.
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Every time Harris opens her mouth, she talks about creating “equity,” even when the word is not appropriate.
That would include her evaluation of intelligence reports, where she reportedly observed that the reports “used adjectives [to describe women] rarely used to describe male leaders.”
After taking office, intelligence agencies were ordered to review years of reports to find bias against women. However, the reports apparently came up empty, finding only “some questionable word choices.”
That, however, did not stop Harris, who sought to incorporate “equity” into every administration policy.
This, as we recently saw, includes relief efforts, where it was proposed that benefits should be given on race and income rather than need.
During the 2022 Hurricane Ian recovery, Harris stated, “We have to address this in a way that is about giving resources based on equity.”
Harris was so adamant in her quest, her staff reportedly started to generate reports on the subject for just about everything that came across her desk as VP.
One former aide told the New York Times, “She was always interested in race and gender.
“We all knew it was really important to her, so we would proactively add that to her briefings. She didn’t have to ask for it.”
Harris has recently tabled these concerns for fear of being labeled too far left, but it is clearly still on the backburner and something that would be revived if she wins this election.
This DEI stuff is working out just wonderfully… ask Donald Trump.
Biden’s choice for Secret Service Director put a woman in charge who was more interested in hiring women than qualified candidates.
When you watch the tape of the first assassination attempt against Trump, you can see just how wonderfully all that worked out.
