CNN: Biden Made Huge Mistake by Saying ‘Lock Up’ Trump

Earlier this week, Joe Biden was out stumping for Kamala Harris.

While talking to the crowd, Biden stated that they needed to “lock” Trump up.

He caught himself, correcting to say that they needed to lock Trump up politically, but the cat was out of the bag at that point.

Big Mistake

Biden’s speech was filled with complete and utter nonsense.

For instance, Biden claimed that Trump would try to “eliminate” his political opponent and have immunity, which is not the case. The Supreme Court ruling does not offer blanket immunity.

Furthermore, the most recent ruling did not even change anything that was already on the books!

Then Biden made his comment about locking Trump, not the smartest thing to say when Trump’s narrative is that Biden weaponized the DOJ against him.

CNN legal analyst Elliot Williams agreed with me, even calling Biden’s comments “profoundly stupid.”

Williams stated, "More than anything else. It was such a profoundly stupid thing for the president to say. Here‘s why: It played directly into the central point that Donald Trump and folks around him have made, which is that the country has this overweening Justice Department top-down from the president going after its rivals. Now, that’s not true.

"Merely articulating it even as an accident, he gave fire to that nonsense.”

This Chicken Little approach by Democrats does not seem to be working with voters, and I honestly think the whole “threat to democracy” and “unfit for office” angle has fatigued everyone, and they have become immune to it.

But my understanding is that Harris is going to double down over the final two weeks, going 100% negative on Trump rather than diving into her policies and agenda.

And I get it… Harris is incapable of having an intelligent conversation on those two fronts, so sling mud and see where it lands.
