Trump jokes about Doug Emhoff's past affair with family nanny at Al Smith dinner

America's 45th president, Donald Trump, stood on the stage at the annual Al Smith Dinner last week and hit Kamala Harris on a topic that not many people have dared to venture near, namely, the allegations against her husband, Doug Emhoff.

During the event, Trump tore into Emhoff, who had an affair during his first marriage.

Emhoff admitted to sleeping with the family nanny in a recent statement.

“During my first marriage, Kerstin and I went through some tough times on account of my actions. I took responsibility, and in the years since, we worked through things as a family and have come out stronger on the other side,” Emhoff said.

Trump knew exactly what needed to be said, making a comment during his roast that Harris should keep the second gentleman “away from the nannies.”

Harris refused to attend the Al Smith dinner, hiding behind the notion that she was simply too busy campaigning to join the roast.

But it is hard not to think that the REAL reason she did not show up is because she simply could not handle the heat that she KNEW Trump would bring.

At the end of the day, the allegations against Harris’ husband are far greater than sleeping with a nanny.

One claim involves violence against women, as a former girlfriend says Emhoff once slapped her at a public event.

Regardless of whether the allegation is true or not -- the affair with a nanny proves just how little Emhoff truly cares about women.

Trump saw his opportunity and pulled the trigger.

While Harris has not commented on Trump’s joke, it is safe to say she is fuming in the White House.

Trump also called out Harris’ running mate, Gov. Tim Walz, saying that he “used to think the Democrats were crazy for saying that men don’t have periods, but then I met Tim Walz.”

The joke was a reference to Tim Walz’ liberal stance on transgender rights and sanitary products.

Do you think Harris is furious with Trump’s jokes he delivered at the Al Smith dinner?
