Scrutiny emgerges over handling of DNA in JonBenét Ramsey murder case
It all started when JonBenét Ramsey’s father, John Ramsey, dropped a BOMBSHELL about his daughter’s unsolved murder.
According to Ramsey, DNA found on the weapon used to take the life of his little girl was NEVER tested by police.
Now, more and more people are jumping on the idea that the DNA in the case was mishandled or at least not utilized properly, and it may be what's stopping the case from being solved after decades of lingering mystery.
Despite the murder happening nearly thirty years ago, Ramsey has not given up on finding his daughter’s killer.
Ramsey previously agreed to an interview in a new TV series where he let his thoughts on the mismanagement of the DNA fly.
“I don't know why they didn't test it in the beginning. To my knowledge, it still hasn’t been tested. If they're testing it and just not telling me, that’s great, but I have no reason to believe that,” Ramsey said.
JonBenet Ramsey was found murdered when she was just 6 years old.
She was beaten, strangled, and sexually assaulted.
Maybe the most terrifying detail of all?
It happened in the basement of her own home.
How could this have happened, and who is responsible?
Those are questions that the police and loved ones of Ramsey have been trying to answer for 28 long years.
Now, with the new TV series being released, shocking details have emerged that make you really wonder what happened when police were investigating all those years ago.
Some are under the belief we may simply never know who killed the poor little girl.
One of those names includes Elizabeth Vargas, a famous journalist, who says there’s “a good chance we’ll never know.”
"I don't think it's possible one person did this. That's my own opinion, so that means two people, and that means at least two people out there know what happened. It's incredible to me that those people have kept that secret, that people they probably told in their lives, because that's a hard secret to keep, that nobody has told. We have all sorts of cold cases that were solved decades later, and I think this could be one of them,” Vargas said in a 2019 special on JonBenét Ramsey’s case.
Do you think we will ever find out who killed JonBenét Ramsey?
