Claims That Melania Trump Wants Divorce Debunked by Campaign As Misinformation
A Facebook post claiming that former first lady Melania Trump requested a divorce from former President Donald Trump went viral has been debunked.
A post that read, "Breaking News. October surprise. Melania Trump declares that she wants a divorce," was shared earlier this week and quickly was reshared hundreds of times in the following days.
This claim was quickly shot down as fake news by the Trump campaign, as Melania Trump has made no statements even remotely close to the one claimed.
The former first lady has been incredibly supportive of her husband, and by all accounts, their marriage is rock-solid.
Leftists have been speculating about the Trump's marriage for years due to Melania's absence from the public eye, which they claim was evidence of her putting distance between herself and her controversial husband.
Trump Family Standing Together
The past few months have demonstrated just how strong the Trump family is and that strength is something that leftists resent heavily.
Trump campaign spokesperson Karoline Leavitt told USA Today that claims of marriage troubles are "totally false” and are contradicted by Melania Trump's push to promote her new memoir, which contains highly supportive language about her husband.
Melania Trump has been increasing her involvement in her husband's campaign ever since the attempt on his life in July, when he was nearly killed by an assassin.
Melania Trump is also more involved than she was in the past because she is no longer occupied fill-time with raising Barron Trump, the couple's only child.
The Trump family has worked hard to shield Barron Trump from the hatred of the left, and Melania Trump was his guardian in that effort, which required her to keep her distance from her husband's political activities.
Now with Barron Trump off at college, Melania Trump has been freed up to participate in the Trump campaign as well as releasing her new memoir which has taken the nation by storm.
United Front
Ever since the attempt on Trump's life in Pennsylvania, the Trump family has come together to present a united front. With the notable absence of Donald Trump's niece Mary Trump, who has turned hating her uncle into a profitable grift, the family is standing together.
Where many of America's political families are riven with controversy and scandal, the Trump family remains relatively unscathed, and their showing of unity at this summer's RNC was inspirational.
Democrats have attacked Trump as an immoral monster for years, but at the end of the day, Trump's family is strong and successful and upstanding.
Trump's family has undermined the left's narrative about the former president's morals and exposed the character assassination that he has endured for years. Democrats hate Trump and resent the strong family he has around him, and they will continue to attack his family as long as he is a threat to the system.
