Harris Unending Gaffes Tighten Race Against Trump

If I did not know better, I would think that Joe Biden has returned as Kamala Harris.

She seems to make as many gaffes as Biden on the campaign trail, and her latest may have just crushed her hopes of winning this election.

During a speech in Wisconsin, a state she badly needs, Harris misspoke, telling the crowd, “I stood up to veterans...”

Misspoke

I do not believe in the excuse of having “misspoke.” From my experience, you are saying what your brain wants to say.

In this case, Biden and Harris do not have the best reputation when it comes to our veterans.

If you recall, during COVID, they wanted to dishonorably discharge military members who did not want to take the vaccine, many of them for religious reasons.

So, when Harris says that she “stood up to veterans,” I believe her. In an effort of transparency, she did correct herself, stating that she “stood up for” veterans, but I believe she had it right the first time.

That is but one of the gaffes that she has had out on the trail, and these small mistakes are really starting to add up.

She has been hurt so much, as a matter of fact, in some polls, she is now trailing Trump nationally, which I never thought would happen.

Democratic pollster Chris Anderson explained the big surge for Trump, stating, "Overall, the movement toward Trump is subtle but potentially consequential, especially if he is making gains among college-educated voters.

"However, the race has been well within the margin of error for three months and the outcome will likely hinge on which side is more effective at getting their voters to the polls as opposed to persuasion."

Many believe the betting markets are far more telling than polls, and everyone who follows them is noticing that Trump has also made a huge surge in those markets.

Polymarket showed Trump beating Harris in six key battleground states, which, if it holds up, would give Trump a landslide win in the election.

You guys know I am very cautious about getting too excited about polling numbers until I see a firm trend.

I am not so bold to say that I think Trump will win this election yet, but I do like the way he is trending, and if that holds over the next week, I think I will be ready to step out and make my call on Trump’s path to victory.
