Reality Star Arrested for Alleged Threats Against Police

It looks like a reality star took her fame to her head just a bit too much.

Reports surfaced this week that Hannah Smith, one of the reality stars of “Love Island USA” has been arrested.

Smith was arrested for having allegedly made threats against a police officer.

Losing Control

The alleged incident took place on September 30 at a concert in Atlanta.

The report stated that Smith had become disorderly during the show and police attempted to get her home safely, which she did not apparently appreciate.

Officers were trying to escort her to an Uber when she decided to go MMA on the cops, allegedly lobbing a full-throttled punch at one of the officers.

Smith was then handcuffed, but that did not stop her alleged antics.

The report continued that after being handcuffed, she repeatedly tried to kick the officers.

When they put her in the police car for processing, Smith then allegedly told the officer that she was going to kill him.

She has since been charged with “terroristic threats and willful obstruction of a law enforcement officer.”

She posted bail and was released the next day, but she has made no mention of the incident on her social media accounts.

Smith starred in Season 6 of Love Island USA, a show based on the original that aired in the UK.

The show puts strangers on an island in a villa, separated from everyone else, and they are paired with another show member.

At one point during the season, the contestants are “re-coupled,” at which point they can keep their current partner or make a change.

Anyone who remains single during this stage is eliminated from the show. During the final week of the show, viewers vote for the ultimate winner.
