Brother of Madonna Dies at 63
Singer Madonna has been going through it for the last few years.
The former bombshell pop star revealed that her young brother passed away on Friday.
This was only two years after Madonna’s other brother passed away at the age of 66.
Sad Days
Madonna is not exactly a conservative favorite these days, but most of us grew up on her music when we were kids.
It was only after the bad orange man ran for office that she had a complete mental breakdown.
As someone in this age bracket, I can still empathize with someone who has lost their siblings.
Christopher “Chris” Gerard Ciccone reportedly died on Friday, reportedly with his husband by his side.
Perhaps that explains Madonna’s obsession with the LGBTQ+ movement.
Two years ago, their brother Anthony passed away, and last year, Christopher also lost his stepmother.
His real mother, Madonna Louise Ciccone, passed away shortly after Christopher was born. She had been diagnosed with breast cancer long before viable treatments were available.
Chris was actually a big part of Madonna’s career, having joined her when she moved to New York.
He studied dance and performed in some of the videos very early in her career, most notably “Everybody” and the big hit “Lucky Star.”
He more or less became her jack of all trades during those days, also helping with costume design and decorating her apartment.
In a previous interview, Chris had stated, “She had just married Sean [Penn] and they had a two-bedroom apartment. She needed help buying some furniture, and there’s where my interest began for filling a space, designing a room, and working with a client.”
Madonna has not dealt with tragedy very well in the past, so it would not be surprising to see her withdraw from the public considering how close she was to her brother.
