Emhoff Accused of Slapping Ex-girlfriend

The Harris campaign had the news cycle right where it wanted it.

Jack Smith just released Donald Trump’s charges outline, and his campaign was reeling. Then Doug Emhoff gets accused of slapping a woman in the face in public.

According to the report, the husband of the vice president and presidential hopeful hit the woman so hard she “spun around.”

Doug the Brutalizer

Democrats and the media have taken to calling Emhoff a modern example of what masculinity would be.

If all these recent allegations against Emhoff are true, he seems more like a caveman than the chivalrous man they want him to be.

According to the report, Emhoff and his ex were at the Cannes Film Festival in 2012, and after a long night of drinking, they got into a taxi line to catch a ride home.

The woman, who is only identified as “Jane,” said she touched the valet’s shoulder to get his attention to try to bribe the valet for a spot at the front of the line.

Emhoff reportedly thought she was flirting, then proceeded to slap her in the face, violent enough that it spun the woman around.

The account has been corroborated by several of the woman's friends, and there were reportedly travel documents and pictures to back up the timeline.

Initially, Emhoff and Harris’ campaign was mum, but Emhoff’s office finally responded, stating, "This report is untrue.

"Any suggestion that he would or has ever hit a woman is false."

This, however, is yet another problem for Harris, who now has to justify taking the side of her husband after being adamant that all women accusers should be believed until they are proven to have lied.

Harris was all about the #MeToo movement when Justice Kavanaugh was accused of sexual misconduct, so let’s see how she feels the same way now that Doug has been accused.

Oh, the cherry on this little sundae is that Emhoff allegedly told the woman during their brief stint together that he bought the silence of his former nanny, with whom he had an affair, or a tidy $80,000 in exchange for her signature on an NDA.
