REPORT: Dems May Have Funded Illegal Election Effort by Organization

Democrats could have a problem on their hands via a recent investigative report.

An organization that has been tied to high-profile Democrat donors may have been involved in an illegal election scheme.

The scheme relied on Democrats recruiting spoiler candidates for tight races.

Free and Fair

Again, you just have to love that Democrats tout free and fair elections when they have been playing games with our elections for years.

Over the last two elections, we have seen Democrat PACs back candidates on the right they thought would give them a better chance to win.

The plan is to spend a lot of cash on a suspect candidate in a primary, knowing that their candidate could beat that person in a general election.

We saw this repeatedly during the last two election cycles, but it was especially effective for Democrats in 2022.

Now, instead of just backing candidates, they are allegedly recruiting them to play spoiler via the Patriots Run Project.

The organization was reportedly recruiting mostly disabled or retired candidates to run in primary races.

I went off about this during the 2020 election when it first started happening, but I really went ballistic when Democrat leadership refused to call this out as an unfair tactic during the 2022 cycle.

Ohio State University law professor Edward Foley made my point, stating, “Whether it’s congressional or presidential races, this kind of activity is a real problem and it undermines the functioning of democracy.”

The organization is being backed by big-money Democrat donors, such as David Steinglass, a retired private equity fund manager, and his wife, Liz.

The couple has donated more than $5 million to Democrat PACs, but then they backed the campaign of Thomas Leager in Wisconsin.

Patriots Run Project backed Leager’s campaign, ponying up $20,000 to gather petition signatures on his behalf.

The Project has also backed candidates in races in Iowa, Nebraska, Montana, Virginia, and Minnesota.

The group is now under investigation by the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation.

One candidate that was backed by the group, Zach Nunn, who is impaired after having suffered a stroke, removed his name from the ballot after realizing he may have been tricked into entering the election.

He stated, “When you try and steal an election by taking advantage of guys like Joe or any Iowans in this room, I don’t care what your party, we fight back.

“We are but a handful of votes in Congress away from losing control of our economy, the border and our future. It’s important that we win the Senate and we have the opportunity to win the White House.

“We never forget about the people’s house. You are at the crossroads right now of making sure this happens.”

Now, if you look up the story on Google, they are being characterized as a “far-right” group recruiting Trump-supporting candidates to run as independents.

It’s hard for a group to be far right when they are being funded by big-money donors on the left and rigging races in favor of Democrats. In reality, it is a leftist group pretending to be conservatives for the sake of rigging an election.

Why is the media not making a big deal of this and why are White House reporters not asking Biden and Harris to take a firm stance against this if they want free and fair elections?

It would have been a great question to ask at the debate on Tuesday night… just saying.
