Melania Trump's teenage photo shows striking resemblance to son Barron
Melania Trump, 58, a former first lady, brought back a black and white photo of herself as a young teen, and it appears that her son Barron may take after her more than his father.
An undated photo of Melania Trump without her makeup has gone viral, and now everyone is talking about whether her son Barron looks more like her or his dad, the former US president, as The Mirror reported.
Stane Jerko, a photographer who found the future first lady while she was a teenager, shared the monochrome photos with Today in 2017.
Melania, who is sixteen years old, looks innocent and carefree in the pictures, wearing either a white bandeau and skirt or jeans and a white blouse. Her face is softer, her eyebrows are more prominent, and she was born in Slovenia.
Melania's Old Look
When compared to the glamorous images we usually see of the First Lady at events like the Republican National Convention or when she walks the halls of the White House in outfits with precise silhouettes, high-heeled shoes, and expertly applied makeup, Melania's noticeable lack of makeup is striking.
Melania, her self-titled memoir, is scheduled for release on October 8. These benign photographs also contrast significantly with her later modeling shots she may include in it.
Barron, her son who started college at New York University earlier this month, looks very similar to these early images. In stark contrast to his father's famed light-haired style, Barron Trump's distinctive brown locks and thick brows make him stand out.
Even Trump conceded that if he'd had Barron's towering height it may have influenced his decision to pursue a career in sports, and the difference between his father's stocky build and his son's slender physique is noticeable.
The Trump Take
When asked about the similarities between Barron and his mother Melania, the former president concedes that it's only natural.
"He looks more like Melania," Trump said in a 2006 private interview with The Palm Beach Post. "He's like her in temperament. Very calm." He's like her in temperament.
Conversely, Melania Trump reveals the emotional rationale behind her choice to limit her family size to one child. She spoke out about it on Fox and Friends, explaining that she and Trump were happy with their lone kid and that she understood Trump's desire to increase their family size.
During her appearance on "Fox and Friends" on September 26, Melania Trump discussed the family's dynamics and her job within it. She said, "I know how busy he is and I'm in charge of everything," explaining that she decided not to have more children since Trump isn't always present to assist with parenting.
