Trump Says Unlikely to Run in 2028 If He Loses
Donald Trump’s thirst for power is so strong… this will be his last attempt at office.
Democrats continue to push the debunked narrative that Trump will be a dictator if elected to office.
But Trump just poked a few holes in that theory by stating if he loses this election, 2028 is just not in the cards.
Done
If I am being honest, I never thought Trump would run again in 2024.
My crystal ball had Trump stepping back and playing kingmaker, anointing Governor Ron DeSantis as the future of the party, which I thought would have been the right move to make.
Trump’s legal problems were always my concern. That and the fact there are a considerable number of people in this country who could care less about policy and will never vote for Trump simply because they do not like him.
Yet, Trump announced, my plan went up in smoke, and here we are today with Trump as the nominee again.
With Democrats continuing to push the dictator narrative, Trump has been repeatedly asked if he would respect the peaceful transfer of power if he wins, and he has said that he would multiple times.
But what if he loses? Would he run again in 2028 at the age of 82?
Trump responded, “No, I don't. No, I don't. I think that that will be, that will be it. I don't see that at all. I think that hopefully we're gonna be successful.”
So, his thirst for power seemingly expires after this race is over… so let’s see what Dems have to say now.
Trump was also asked about the recent attempts on his life and if he is scared, to which he responded, “I can't be scared because if you're scared, you can't do your job.”
Currently, Harris is beating Trump in national polls in most battleground states, but the trends show that Trump should be back on top in the battleground states soon enough, all things remaining equal.
Dems play dirty, though, so you know there is a landmine just waiting for Trump before this election.
Let’s just hope he figures out a way to dodge it because I am not sure if this country or the conservative movement can survive with Harris in the White House for four years.
