Biden Admits Secret Service Needs More ‘Help’ After Second Trump Assassination Attempt

As I am sure most of you know, there was yet another attempt on Donald Trump’s life this weekend.

Joe Biden addressed the issue, stating that Secret Service needs “more help.”

According to numerous reports, the issue is not a money issue, but a manpower issue.

Need More Agents

From what I have read, there is plenty of funding, but not enough bodies to cover the current needs of the Secret Service.

Keep in mind, in addition to covering our politicians, they are also tasked with covering foreign dignitaries when they come into the country.

The agency has been quite stretched during the campaign season, as was evident when the D team was tasked with protecting Trump during his rally in Butler, PA.

Biden even hinted at that after saying he was glad Trump was okay.

Biden added, "One thing I want to make clear, the [Secret] Service needs more help and I think the Congress should respond to their needs, if in fact they need more servicemen.”

Uhm, Joe, Congress cannot do anything about the Secret Service being understaffed.

The money is there, but nobody apparently wants to work for the agency, and it would already appear that the agents there are not qualified.

At an appearance later in the day, Biden also stated, "The acting head of the Secret Service is in Florida today assessing what happened and determining whether any further adjustments need to be made to ensure the safety of our former president.”

Biden again addressed the assassination, stating, "I've always condemned political violence, and I always will.

"In America, we resolve our differences peacefully at the ballot box, not at the end of a gun. America suffered too many times the tragedy of an assassin's bullet. It solves nothing. It just tears the country apart. We must do everything we can to prevent it and never give it any oxygen."

Biden says that out of one side of his mouth while calling Trump a “threat to democracy” out of the other side.

In fact, Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre got drilled by Fox News’ Peter Doocy on this very subject, but Jean-Pierre got indignant and offered no sign of backing off that language.

Hillary Clinton also did an interview on Monday, calling Trump a threat, and House Minority Leader Jeffries (D-N.Y.) sent out a tweet just hours after the incident talking about removing MAGA at all costs.

There is simply no way you can convince me that the loonies on the left are not hearing these things and taking action, believing that they are being given orders.

After all, if that is what they say about Trump’s rhetoric, then the same must be true about the rhetoric from Democrats.
