Former Democrat Senator Facing Sexual Misconduct Allegations

It is rather ironic that charges were recently filed against California State Sen. Marie Alvarado-Gil.

I say this because Alvarado-Gil recently switched parties.

Then, suddenly, her former chief of staff claims that she was forcing him to provide sexual favors to her.

Controlling

Her former Chief of Staff, Chad Condit, claimed the Senator is an "erratic" and "controlling" boss who imposed a "sexually dominating abuse of authority and power" over him.

His suit alleges, "This was a sex-based quid pro quo relationship of unwelcome advances and sexual behaviors coupled with punishment and flexing of power.”

The senator’s attorney responded, "A disgruntled former employee has fabricated an outlandish story, presented without evidence, to get a payday.

"We expect that the Senator will be fully cleared of any wrongdoing of these bogus, financially motivated claims."

Secretary of the Senate Erika Contreras has also responded to the charges, stating, "The Senate has not been served in this matter, but we are in discussion with counsel to assess next steps.

"The Senate takes all complaints incredibly seriously, but is unable to comment on matters involving pending litigation."

Condit claims that he is now suffering from several injuries due to how she used to make him contort his body to perform these acts.

Now, I have no idea if the allegations are true, but I do find the timing rather odd considering that Alvarado-Gil decided to leave the Democrat Party.

I will bite my tongue before I say anything else and allow all this to play out in court to see if Condit can prove his allegations or if the Senator decides to pay him off.

If this is revenge politics, it would not surprise me one bit. However, if the allegations wind up being true, the GOP is going to have egg on its face after making such a big deal about having such a powerful Democrat in California migrate over to the Republican Party.
