9/11 Photo Leaves Supporters on Both Sides Asking Questions

The debate on Tuesday night was pretty contentious.

Donald Trump threw out allegations, as did Kamala Harris, and anyone watching that debate would easily surmise that these two do not like each other one bit.

Then came the 9/11 photo, in which Harris and Trump were shaking hands, both smiling, leaving everyone confused.

Just Avoid Them

Now, I am not suggesting that either of them should have made a scene, quite the contrary.

But after that debate and the things that were said by both sides, seeing the front row of the Lower Manhattan ceremony commemorating 9/11 confused many people.

Not only did Trump and Harris shake hands and exchange pleasantries, but Trump was standing their chatting up Michael Bloomberg before the ceremony started.

He was also seen shaking hands, smiling, and chatting with Joie Biden.

I know… people are going to say they were just showing bipartisan support to unite the country, but we all know venom would spew as soon as these events were over, and it did.

I would have simply picked a spot away from Harris and avoided them like the plague, not made nice for the cameras with them.

And I would imagine there are people on the left wondering the same thing.

How can Kamala Harris, who has called Trump a threat to democracy and one of the vilest men on the planet, smile and shake his hand?

Are we all being played, and they just go at in on camera to get everyone riled up, or was this just the right thing to do?

I know how I feel about this, but I am curious how the rest of you feel about it.

Like I said, if I were Trump, there is no way I would have shaken her hand, but I am self-admittedly petty about stuff like that.

Let’s hear from you guys on this one… did Trump do the right thing or do you think he should have avoided Harris and Biden?
