Rep. Stefanik: People Have Died with Harris as Border Czar
The war has started between the GOP and the Harris campaign to link the vice president to the border.
If you recall, right after Biden took office, he appointed Harris to oversee the problems at the border.
Harris downplayed her role as only rectifying the root causes of the issue, while the media tagged her with the title of “Border Czar.”
It’s on Kamala
Rep. Elise Stefanik is throwing bombs at Harris these days, claiming that Harris has blood on her hands.
She stated, “Kamala Harris and Tim Walz are the most radical Democrat ticket in our nation’s history.
“Look at their record, look at the record of Kamala Harris. She is Joe Biden’s open border czar. She owns this catastrophic failure of wide open borders prioritizing illegals and criminals over law-abiding Americans.
“People have died in this country, Mark, because of Kamala Harris’ role as Joe Biden’s open border czar. If you look at both Kamala Harris and Tim Walz, they support defunding the police.”
“We saw that when Tim Walz served as governor in Minnesota we’ve seen that when Kamala Harris actually raised money to bail out criminals and has stood for defunding the police.
“On top of that, this inflation crisis across the country, the deciding vote in the U.S. Senate was Kamala Harris while she was vice president for Joe Biden’s Inflation Expansion Act. It’s the most radical, most socialist Democrat ticket and that is why it’s so incredibly important all Americans unify and elect President Donald Trump who will save this country.”
As I am writing this report, we are only a few hours away from the first Trump-Harris debate.
I fully expect Trump to hammer this subject, and I am curious to see how Harris defends herself as well as how much the moderators allow her to deflect.
Harris has been doing everything possible in her messaging to present Trump as the incumbent and Harris as the change candidate, so let’s see the moderators do their job and remind Harris that she has been in office for nearly four years now.
