Allan Lichtman predicts Harris as 2024 winner

Allan Lichtman has gained some fame in recent years for his surprisingly accurate presidential election predictions.

For example, Lichtman correctly predicted that Donald Trump would win the 2016 election when almost zero other members of the American media were saying the same thing.

In 2024 though, Lichtman has some disappointing news for fans of Donald Trump:

Because of the Democrats' decision to get "smart" and parachute in Kamala Harris in place of Joe Biden just before the election, Allan Lichtman thinks that liberals are going to be victorious in 2024.

It's NOT the news that Trump fans have been wanting to hear, especially from somebody with a prediction record as accurate as Allan Lichtman's.

He's not called the "The Prophet of Presidential Elections" for nothing.

The American University historian has correctly guessed the winner of nine out of the last ten presidential elections.

Those aren't the odds that Donald Trump wanted.

Lichtman recently explained how he came to this conclusion:

"The way it works is real simple. If six or more keys -- any six -- go against the White House party, they are predicted losers. Otherwise, they're predicted winners," he recently told Fox News. "And by the way, this also led to a prediction of Donald Trump's win, which made me virtually alone in making that prediction in 2016."

According to Lichtman, all of the factors that made him lean Trump in 2016 are now telling him that "we are going to have a precedent-breaking election and Kamala Harris will become the first woman President of the United States."

"We've had an unprecedented situation of a sitting president dropping out on the eve of the convention, and it has affected my keys," Lichtman continued. "Now, with Biden dropping out, the Democrats lost one key -- the incumbency key. I thought perhaps the way things were looking, if Biden dropped out, the Democrats would have a big party brawl and that would cost them a second key, which could lose them the election. But the Democrats finally got smart and united behind Harris and that preserved the contest key. That means the shift only cost them one key."
