Appeals court weighing Trump's attempt to toss E. Jean Carroll verdict

If you're a fan of Donald Trump and thought his chances to fight back against one of his worst court outcomes to date were officially over, you're going to be THRILLED with this news:

An appeals court is weighing whether or not Donald Trump should get a new trial in the lawsuit filed him by E. Jean Carroll.

Liberals would tell you that this case was supposed to be done and over with quite some time ago, so the fact that a court has even agreed to listen to Trump's team's arguments is a massive win for the former president.

According to TheHill.com, "former President Trump appeared before a federal appeals court Friday where his attorney argued that he should get a new trial in writer E. Jean Carroll’s lawsuit accusing him of sexual abuse and defamation that ended in a multimillion-dollar jury verdict."

Trump and his team were arguing that it was unfair that evidence from outside this case was brought into the courtroom.

The prosecution argued that these other incidents involving Trump were proof that he enjoys behaving a certain type of way, while Trump's team is arguing now that it was unfair that evidence not involving Carroll was presented against him in a case about his conduct toward her.

On the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals were three judges, all of whom were appointed by Democrats.

The judges heard arguments for less than a half hour, sticking closely to the allotted time.

The original case in question saw E. Jean Carroll accusing Trump of sexually assaulting "her in the mid-1990s in a department store dressing room and defamed her when she came forward publicly during Trump’s presidency. A jury sided with Carroll and ordered Trump to pay millions, but he maintains that he never assaulted the columnist."

Whether or not this three-judge panel actually sides with Trump and his team or not, it's a victory for Trump to even have a chance against E. Jean Carroll at this point in time.

Do you think that Donald Trump is working hard to avoid the consequences he should be facing, or is he as innocent as he claims he is?

The fact that Trump even has a chance for a REMOVAL of the E. Jean Carroll verdict from his record is nothing short of a miracle.
