Tim Walz Motorcade Crashes, And Walz Keeps Going

Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has not received much positive press lately, and that will not change today.

According to reports, Walz’s motorcade was involved in an accident on Monday around 1:00 p.m. local time.

While there were reported injuries in the crash, it was reported the Walz just kept rolling along.

The Crash

According to the report, the cars that were involved in the crash were at the rear of the motorcade.

Typically, these are cars with low-level staffers and media personnel.

Reports stated that the individuals in the car were “violently thrown forward” when they were hit from behind, and at least one person sustained an injury.

The cars involved in the crash did pull over to the side of the road, but Walz’s vehicle reportedly kept rolling on to the scheduled event.

As news of the accident traveled, both Kamala Harris and Joe Biden reportedly called Walz to make sure he was okay.

Walz did mention the accident during his event, which was in Milwaukee.

He stated, "Some of my staff and members of the press that were traveling up with us were involved in a traffic accident on the way here today. We’ve spoken with the staff.

"I’m relieved to say that with a few minor injuries, everybody’s going to be okay.”

Republican Vice Presidential Candidate JD Vance (R-OH) mentioned the accident on X, posting, "Hoping everyone's OK."

This is now the second accident related to the Harris-Walz campaign.

Last week, a motorcycle officer crashed, who has since been identified as Savannah Police Corporal David Bates.

Bates reportedly suffered “serious injuries” in the crash, and he was the only person involved in the accident.
