Axios: Harris Ran Away from Border Responsibilities

We are now finding out that perhaps Kamala Harris is not the golden child of the Democrat Party that the party would like us to believe.

Axios just came out with a report that took a fairly serious shot at Harris regarding her border duties.

The report actually accuses Harris of skirting her duties at the border.

When Harris and Biden first took office, one of the first assignments given to Harris was the border.

Harris later clarified that the border itself was not her responsibility. Instead, she would travel to the Triangle countries feeding the problem and work to find the root causes of the issue.

While Harris was tagged as the “border czar,” she quickly tried to distance herself from that title.

At the time, some Texas Democrats, Rep. Henry Cuellar (D-TX) in particular, were very critical of Harris for never sitting down with local Democrats impacted by the problems at the border.

In a previous Axios report, Cuellar stated that he repeatedly reached out to Harris, only to have his hand slapped away.

More recently, Cueller stated, “I don’t want to say I told you so, but it did happen the way I said it would happen.

“I think anyone that’s dealt with this issue knows that it’s a very difficult issue, and I do think she distanced herself.”

Even Biden’s former Chief of Staff, Ron Klain, piled on a bit. He stated that his office was trying to find pictures of Harris having visited the border at any time of her career to refute GOP claims that she had never been to the border.

Klain stated, “We wanted to try to find proof that she’d been there during that, but never could find pictures or anything.”

Harris is now saying that she can fix the problems at the border if elected, but this woman has been in office for nearly four years and the only improvement at the border happened when Biden decided to put it on lockdown because of it being an election year.

She is the word salad queen who, up until about a month ago, was despised by the overwhelming majority of Americans.

Today, she is leading Donald Trump nationally simply because she is atop a ticket as the Democrat nominee.

How quickly people seem to forget she was out of the presidential race in 2020 before a single vote was cast because she was annoying and overly cocky.

She is a PUC, or someone that just picks up a check, and there is no way we can allow her to get into that Oval Office.

She must be defeated in November.
