Kennedy Blocked on Ballot in New York

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. just had a very bad day.

Kennedy recently found out that he would not be eligible to be on the ballot in New York.

According to the report, the judge ruled Kennedy was using a “false” address on his petition for political purposes only, so his ballot request was denied.

Can’t Do That

Judge Christina Ryba was the deciding judge in the case.

Kennedy called out Judge Ryba, a Democrat, saying that this was a partisan decision to keep him out of the race.

He stated, “They aren’t confident they can win at the ballot box, so they are trying to stop voters from having a choice.

"We will appeal, and we will win.”

Kennedy currently resides in California, but he stated that he has always considered New York his home state and eventually plans to return there.

In court, Kennedy noted that he continues to rent a room in New York about 40 miles outside of Manhattan for a whopping $500 per month.

He continues to practice law in the state as well as paying state taxes.

The judge, however, stated, “Given the size and appearance of the spare bedroom as shown in the photographs admitted into evidence, the Court finds Kennedy’s testimony that he may return to that bedroom to reside with his wife, family members, multiple pets, and all of his personal belongings to be highly improbable, if not preposterous.”

New York Dems wanted Kennedy off the ballot because he was hurting Biden more than Trump in the state.

However, with Harris in the race, the numbers have flipped, so I am not sure Dems will actually not be too thrilled with this decision.

New York was coming back into play with Biden, as Trump had reduced the advantage to single digits and was trending in the right direction.

In the most recent polling with Harris, she is enjoying at least an 11% advantage, so I will go out on a limb and say New York is no longer in play.
