Walz’s Former Battalion Leader Nukes Dem VP Candidate

The façade that Democrats have tried to put over Minnesota Governor Tim Walz is beginning to crack.

Walz’s former unit’s battalion commander has come forward to absolutely shred the aspiring vice president.

John Kolb recently posted a scathing rebuke of Walz and his military service.

Didn’t Earn It

Lieutenant Colonel John Kolb took over as the commander of Tim Walz’s National Guard unit about two months after Walz retired from the National Guard.

He blistered Walz for retiring the way he did as well as claiming that he had retired as a Command Sergeant Major.

Kolb wrote, “He did not earn the rank or successfully complete any assignment as an E9.

“I can sit in the cockpit of an airplane, it does not make me a pilot.”

Then he really dropped the hammer on Walz, writing, “Similarly, when the demands of service and leadership at the highest level got real, he chose another path.”

Retired Capt. Corey Bjertness, who had served as the chaplain for Walz’s unit, also blasted Walz for the way he retired.

Bjertness wrote, “In our world, to drop out after a WARNORD [warning order] is issued is cowardly, especially for a senior enlisted guy.”

This removes the political element of the attacks that the media has been using to defend Walz’s retirement timing.

Walz used the excuse that he was running for office as the reason for his retirement, but we have regularly had members of Congress who served in the National Guard or Reserve units while serving in Congress.

Two of the most recent members of Congress that have done so were Reps. Tulsi Gabbard (D-HI) and Adam Kinzinger (R-IL).

As I stated before, had Walz merely stuck to the truth, he would not have been under any scrutiny. However, he chose to misrepresent certain aspects of his service, and now he is being called out for it, and not just by Republicans.
