Supreme Court Gaining Support Among Voters

While Democrats continue to attack the Supreme Court, if you can believe it, the favorability rating of the court is on the rise.

In the latest Pew Research Center poll, the court’s approval rating has risen from 44% to 47%.

This, I am sure, will upset Democrats, who continue to attack the court at every opportunity.

Reforming the Court

Democrats have tried to portray the Supreme Court as corrupt right-wing extremists.

In fact, Joe Biden, in announcing his withdrawal from the election, stated that he would be spending his final months in office pushing Congress for significant Supreme Court reform, including an enforceable code of conduct.

I have stated numerous times that while not every decision the court has made has made me happy, I firmly believe this is the most balanced court we have had in decades.

Of the six conservative justices on the bench, four of them will vote against the majority at any given time, and included in that are all three of Trump’s justices.

I know this infuriates some people, but it does show that decisions are not being made necessarily on ideology over the letter of the law and the Constitution.

Overall, the court is still down considerably, but it is nice to see it ticking back up, and we clearly have Trump’s justices to thank for that.

The real hit the court took was when it overturned Roe v. Wade, which was actually the right decision.

At the time, the court was perceived favorably by about 67% of Democrats, and that number slipped down to 24% after the decision was overturned.

Whenever this subject comes up, I point to the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, who had called the decision flawed based on the fact the ruling was not about a woman’s right to choose but the doctors’ right to perform abortions.

Prior to her death, she had repeatedly stated that she expected the decision to be overturned at some point, but you never hear the liberal media or Democrats talk about that.
