Harris Continues to Avoid Press After Presidential Candidacy

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have something in common.

They are both apparently allergic to the media.

Harris held a presser on the first day she was gifted the nomination by the Democrat Party, and we have not heard from her since.

Media Getting Antsy

The media did finally catch up with Harris this week, getting her to answer a few questions with non-answers on the tarmac.

Her campaign refused to comment on most questions, but Harris did promise that she would schedule a presser before the end of the month.

This is utterly ridiculous, but there is good reason for it.

One, Harris will need to be significantly prepped to answer questions without going off on a cackling fit.

Two, her campaign will have to train her to answer the most pressing questions about her nomination, which will include Biden dropping out after being nominated and her being hand-picked by the party instead of the American people.

Three, the campaign and the DNC are now working overtime to scrub the profiles of Harris and Walz to get rid of any issues, you know, like Walz lying about his retirement rank in the National Guard.

All this is getting old with the media, and some of the more loyal outlets are starting to call Harris out.

For instance, Politico Playbook reported, “Harris is starting to face more questions about why she isn’t doing more press, which are only bound to grow louder.

“Our West Wing Playbook colleagues report that her campaign is thinking about setting up a big joint interview with her and Walz — but they’re generally skeptical that such moments provide much electoral value.”

Honestly, I have never seen two people avoid the press more, meaning Harris and Biden, and be rewarded by the media for it.

One thing I am certain of… Harris will not do any interviews with any hostile members of the press.

When she finally does do a presser or interview, you better believe it will be all softball questions, and I would anticipate her avoiding Fox News and the New York Post at all costs.
