Kennedy Cancels Appearances of Security Concerns

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had requested Secret Service protection for months, but he was always denied.

After the failed Trump assassination, the Secret Service finally approved his request, but only after Donald Trump made an issue of it on social media.

Now, Kennedy is canceling an event that was to be held at the Iowa State Fair, citing security concerns.

The Whackos Are Out Now

After the Trump assassination attempt, if you recall, I had stated that it would probably embolden more people to try.

Even though the attempt on Trump’s life was unsuccessful, it showed that the Secret Service is simply not capable of protecting people the way the agency was set up to do.

There were so many breakdowns in security, the whackos that want to make a name for themselves by taking out a candidate were probably frothing at the mouth.

Due to these concerns, Kennedy wanted to secure an indoor venue, where it is much easier to protect, but he was unable, so the appearance has been canceled.

This campaign stated, “We were unable to secure a venue stage indoors that satisfies our security requirements for Mr. Kennedy’s safety.”

While there have been no credible threats against Kennedy reported, considering what happened with Trump, canceling the event is understandable.

Kennedy is a very attractive target for the nut jobs, especially when you consider his family history.

And he has received numerous threats since announcing his candidacy, so this is not just paranoia on his part.

In terms of the election, Kennedy has been bleeding support for months.

In the last polling that I saw, he was down to just 5% support, which is more than a 100% drop from his peak.

He has gone from a real threat to just another independent candidate who will be only a small blip on the screen on election day.
