VP Harris' birth certificate goes public
Vice President Kamala Harris's birth certificate has been revealed.
This comes as Republicans, led by former President Donald Trump, are questioning why it is that Harris, all of a sudden, is emphasizing that she is a Black woman, when, in the past, she emphasized her Indian heritage.
If you want to take a look at the birth certificate for yourself, here it is:
I have a copy of Kamala Harris’s @KamalaHarris’s birth certificate.
Nowhere on her birth certificate does it say that she is BLACK OR AFRICAN. @KamalaHQ is a liar.
Donald Trump is correct. Kamala Harris is NOT black and never has been.
She is also the descendent of slave… pic.twitter.com/E0uq1TCfFy

What's going on?
Trump questioned why it is that Harris is, all of a sudden emphasizing her African American roots, at the recently-held National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). The former president was prompted to do so when one of the journalists asked him to weigh in on the claim that Harris is a DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) candidate for the presidency.
"I've known her for a long time, indirectly, not directly… and she was always of Indian heritage, and she was only promoting Indian heritage," Trump said.
He continued, "I didn't know she was Black until a number of years ago when she happened to turn Black. And now she wants to be known as Black. So, I don't know, is she Indian or is she Black?"
Trump, to bolster his claim about Harris's Indian heritage, then followed up with a social media post showing an old picture of Harris with her family.
"Thank you Kamala for the nice picture you sent from many years ago! Your warmth, friendship, and love of your Indian Heritage are very much appreciated," Trump wrote.
"She's a chameleon"
Harris's birth certificate shows that her mother, Gopalan Shyamala, was born in India and that her father, Donald Harris, was born in Jamaica.
The mainstream media is trying to claim that Trump is wrong. It must be pointed out that Trump never said that Harris was not Black. He only said that she used to emphasize her Indian heritage, whereas as now she is emphasizing her African American heritage.
Harris, in particular, emphasized her Indian heritage while running for the U.S. Senate. Take a look, for example, at this video.
The fact of the matter, though, is that this is all besides the point that Trump and Republicans are trying to make. What is their point?
Here's how Trump's running mate, U.S. Sen. JD Vance (R-OH), put it:
Look, all he said is that Kamala Harris is a chameleon. She goes to Georgia two days ago, she was raised in Canada, she puts on a fake southern accent. She is everything to everybody and she pretends to be somebody different depending on which audience she is in front of.
