Trump campaign seeks more distance from Project 2025

Liberals are trying to somehow tie Donald Trump to "Project 2025," but seemingly all evidence points to Donald Trump not being involved with the group at all.

In fact, Donald Trump and his campaign are trying to make sure that America knows Project 2025 is NOT in any way affiliated with or endorsed by Trump's campaign.

Despite what Rolling Stone is referring to as "multiple direct ties" between Donald Trump and Project 2025 even they are admitting that "Donald Trump spent much of this month trying to disown the highly Trumpy, Heritage Foundation-led Project 2025 — to the point that he even got his fans to boo the initiative during a recent campaign rally."

Donald Trump previously said, "I know nothing about Project 2025, [and] I have no idea who is behind it, I disagree with some of the things they’re saying, and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal."

America's 45th President NEVER endorsed Project 2025, and any liberals who tell you that he was behind it at all are simply lying to you.

In fact, a report appeared on TheHill.com on July 30 explaining that pressure from Donald Trump and his campaign had actually forced the man revealed to be in charge of Project 2025 to step down.

The director of Project 2025 turned out to be Paul Dans, which makes it a tiny bit harder to believe that Trump didn't know his identity because Dans "was previously chief of staff at the Office of Personnel Management in the Trump administration."

Perhaps the Republicans behind Project 2025 thought they were making progress for Donald Trump, but they've created a massive target for Kamala Harris and other Democrats to attack.

As a result, Trump has started to speak out against Project 2025.

"President Trump’s campaign has been very clear for over a year that Project 2025 had nothing to do with the campaign, did not speak for the campaign, and should not be associated with the campaign or the President in any way," Trump's spokespeople said.
