FBI Informs Congress of Evidence on Trump Shooter

When former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle was before Congress this week, she did her best to run circles around lawmakers to avoid answering questions.

While she was doing that, the FBI was actually providing evidence it had found thus far in its investigation into the assassination attempt of Donald Trump.

So far, the FBI has managed to crack the shooter’s phone, found out that the shooter had some overseas encrypted accounts, as well as had a picture of the Michigan school shooter.

The Evidence

According to the FBI, in the shooter's phone was a photo and information pertaining to the Michigan school shooter from 2021.

Additionally, there were photos of various guns and articles about different government figures, and a screenshot of a live feed from the July 13 rally where the shooter attempted to assassinate Donald Trump.

The phone is clearly a key part of the investigation, which will hopefully give agents even more information as to the motive behind the shooting.

Something else that was found had been previously reported, that being several encrypted apps based overseas.

According to the report, the apps were based in Germany, New Zealand, and Belgium.

The FBI did not release details about the apps, so I am not getting too fired up about them just yet. I will wait for more information on them before speculating.

The FBI also provided Congress with a more accurate timeline of events, something that Director Cheatle tried to avoid giving Congress when she was in the hot seat.

With everything that we now know, Cheatle’s removal was imminent, and she clearly read the writing on the wall by turning in her resignation this week.

The only sad aspect of her stepping down is that Biden gushed over her on the way out the door when he should have ripped her a new one.

That woman is a disgrace to her post, and an innocent man is dead because of her ineptitude at her post.
