Jill Biden accused of playing part in demise of Secret Service with questionable hires

There's no doubt that the U.S. Secret Service didn't protect Donald Trump as well as it should have at his rally on July 13, 2024, in Pennsylvania. However, some of the reasons for the security failures are coming out publicly, and millions of Americans are extremely disappointed at what they are hearing.

Apparently, the Secret Service has been so weakened by nepotism hires and the Biden administration's diversity efforts that people are actually blaming Jill Biden for what happened to Donald Trump.

Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle wasn't necessarily qualified for the job when she took it back in 2022, but she had something much more important than qualifications:

She was a friend of Jill Biden.

Unfortunately, the practice of not choosing the best candidate didn't stop with Cheatle, as she and America's first family worked to fill the department with diversity hires instead of picking those who would perform best at their jobs.

"We must embrace diversity, equity, inclusion, and accessibility (DEIA) across the agency," Cheatle said after she was picked to lead the agency. She explained, "DEIA must be demonstrated by all employees — leading by example — through ‘every action every day.’"

It should have been a sign of things to come that she spoke about diversity in hiring and did NOT speak about keeping the president safe.

Cheatle was so worried about hiring a diverse group of people in order to please the Biden administration she owed for hiring her that she never stopped to consider whether this diverse group of people could do the job properly.

Just look at the video from when Trump stood up and demanded his shoes after he was shot in the ear at his campaign rally.

Instead of somebody tall enough to protect Donald Trump's head from another possible gunman, the Secret Service placed a petite woman in charge of keeping the front of the president's head safe. The video shows that any remaining shooters would have still had a clear view of Trump's head because of how much taller he was than the Secret Service agent.

I'm sure this lady is a fine person and very well could have deserved a job elsewhere in the agency, but it's clear here that she's NOT tall enough to protect the president's head!

Unfortunately, it only takes one instance of seeing something like this for America to lose trust in the people who made these decisions.

We do want to be fair and respectful to all genders, races, and body types. We also can't compromise the safety of our president for the sake of those things. The citizens of America seem to realize that, but Kimberly Cheatle and Jill Biden have been slow to agree.
