Court will hear Trump's bid to disqualify Fani Willis 1 month after presidential election

Fulton County, Georgia, District Attorney Fani Willis is FINISHED.

Why?

It looks like former President Donald Trump’s appeal made an impact on the court.

“Should a prosecutor be disqualified for intentionally and repeatedly violating ethical and professional canons to prejudice defendants for personal or political gain? Yes. Is disqualification necessary when a prosecutor testifies falsely, conceals misconduct, and creates ‘an odor of mendacity’ that results in a ‘significant appearance of impropriety?’ Undoubtedly so,” the appeal argument read.

Trump’s legal team did NOT stop there.

“If this prosecutor deflects attention from her misconduct by claiming on national television that the defendants are dishonest racists for bringing the truthful accusations to light, could anyone have confidence in the impartiality of the prosecutor’s actions? Absolutely not,” the appeal continues.

Trump’s lawyers have been confident from the get-go that the Georgia Court of Appeals would respond well to their brief.

“We are optimistic that the Court will favorably decide the appeal in our favor,” Trump’s lead attorney Steve Sadow said at the time.

It looks like Sadow may be right!

After reading what Trump’s team had to say, the Georgia Court of Appeals has decided they will hear arguments pertaining to former President Donald Trump’s request to disqualify Willis on Dec. 5.

Considering that the presidential election takes place on Nov. 5, and the case is paused until a full month later, this means Willis has effectively lost the battle to stop Trump from taking back the White House.

While Willis has filed a motion to dismiss Trump’s appeal, it is NOT looking good for her.

The Georgia Court of Appeals knows it, Willis knows it, and Trump KNOWS it.

He called Willis’ recent filing a “last ditch effort to stop any appellate review of [her] misconduct.”

Trump is right.

At this point, Willis should just throw in the towel.

She has lost the battle AND the war.

When will Willis wake up and realize that this was never a fight she was going to win?
